Copernican Scholar Exchange Program

November 24, 2014

University of Padua SealAn exchange program between the Purdue University Honors College and the Honors College at the Università degli Studi di Padova for two “Copernican Scholars” is set for 2015-2016. Applications to become one of Purdue’s “Copernican Scholars” will be available Spring 2015 for study in Padova (Padua), Italy during the Spring of 2016. Scholar selections will be made prior to the end of May 2015, and the two students selected will serve as ambassadors for the Italian honors student, who will be studying at Purdue during the fall 2015 semester. The Purdue students will then study at the Scuola Galileiana di Studi Superiori (the Università’s Galileo Honors College) February through June 2016.

Classes offered cover all majors, are taught in English, and carry honors credit for ease of transfer back to Purdue. Because this is an exchange program, students pay their regular tuition and housing plus meal costs for the semester, which then covers these costs for their semester in Padova.
